Become a volunteer

Parler Français, is also a wonderful human adventure!

We welcome new volunteer teachers all year round. No specific training is required, but an excellent level of French, a love for interacting with people, a passion for teaching, and a desire to get involved are essential.

Each new volunteer is welcomed with an introductory meeting to explain the context, the learners and the challenges involved. They are then encouraged to sit in on a few classes as an observer until they feel ready to lead a workshop.

Volunteer trainers are supported in their work by the association’s coordinators. Information and experience-sharing meetings are held regularly.  They also have access to free training, either online or in person.
